- Once the collaboration request period closed, we took the list of email addresses and imported it into Excel.
- In Excel, we removed any duplicate email addresses and from the resulting list we kept only the username — without the domain. For example: from the address "username@hotmail.com" we would have taken "username".
- We checked for duplicate usernames — unlikely, but it could have happened that one participant was name@yahoo.com and another name@hotmail.com. Fortunately, there were no duplicates this time :)
- We set up the giveaway on a dedicated giveaway platform — in this case we chose sortea2.com, a platform that guarantees a fully transparent draw. We pasted the list of usernames there and published the giveaway. Your privacy is, as always, completely protected!
