Picual: “The most beneficial olive variety for health”. Intense green color, freshly made, with olives collected on November 10, 2,019.
It is an Oil mostly consisting in Picual olives (70%) and Hojiblanca olives (30%), from the Puente Genil region which are traditionally grown and obtained through a first cold press process. Its acidity is no more than 0.2% meaning it has a high concentration of polyphenols, oleic acid, and natural antioxidants, which are the ones that produce great health benefits. One of the main characteristics of Picual oil is its abiliity to not oxidise or become rancid, and its good conservation at high temperatres during frying.
Perfect to be had raw, on toast, salads, and it is highly recommended for stews and frying.
